What is Oceania?
Oceania covers the islands of the central and south Pacific — three classical cultural regions (Polynesia, Melanesia, and Micronesia) plus Australasia. Together, these span roughly 30 million square miles and 25,000 islands. Oceania Charters treats Hawaii as a fifth region: the most accessible entry point for North American charterers, and a distinct charter world in its own right.

Five Regions
Each with its own character, conditions, and anchorages.
Hawaii
The volcanic crown of the North Pacific
Six major islands, world-class trade winds, and dramatically sculpted coastlines. Hawaii is the natural gateway for North American charterers — and Oceania’s most recognizable starting point.
Australasia
Reef systems, fiord anchorages, and coral seas
From the Whitsundays inside Australia’s Great Barrier Reef to the remote fiords of New Zealand’s Fiordland and the coral-rich coasts of Papua New Guinea’s Bismarck Sea — Australasia spans the widest range of charter conditions in Oceania.
Polynesia
Atolls, lagoons, and the trade winds
The vast Polynesian triangle spans Tahiti’s Society Islands, the Tuamotu atolls, Tonga’s hidden anchorages, Samoa, and the Cook Islands — Oceania’s most storied charter waters.
Melanesia
Untouched reefs and volcanic archipelagos
Fiji, Vanuatu, the Solomon Islands, and New Caledonia form Oceania’s most ecologically diverse charter region — with some of the world’s least-visited anchorages and richest dive sites.
Micronesia
A thousand islands across the equatorial Pacific
Palau’s legendary underwater world, the Caroline Islands, and the Marshall Island atolls make Micronesia Oceania’s most geographically dispersed and rewarding charter destination.
